The Enquirer - What's required to drive a bus?: "A driver in Ohio must*:
• Have at least two years' driving experience or meet age requirements set by local school districts or bus companies.
• Hold a commercial driver'slicense with a school bus endorsement.
• Be certified by the Ohio Department of Education.
• Pass annual physical exams.
• Pass an annual driver record check with no more than eight points within the past 24 months.
• Pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests. Anyone convicted of a DUI within the past two years is ineligible."
