Nevada County Local News: Nevada County man still missing - TheUnion.com: "Mark Byers, 46, was reported missing Friday, but was taken off law enforcement's missing persons database Monday after a charity worker reported he put Byers on a bus to Santa Cruz to visit his aunt.
But Byers never contacted his aunt, Nevada County Sheriff's Lt. Bill Evans reported Tuesday, and Byers was put back on the missing persons list.
Byers boarded a bus last Wednesday, according to the charity who called the sheriff's office at 9:28 a.m. Monday."
