Oroville Mercury Register - Search continues in two missing persons cases: "A special law enforcement task force has been formed to lead the search for Veronica Guzman, 19, a Chico State University sophomore missing since Feb. 19.
The Gridley-Biggs Police Department, Chico State University police and Butte County District Attorney's Office have called a conference for this afternoon to announce the latest details in the case.
Guzman attended a class at Chico State the day she went missing and is believed to have driven from the campus sometime around 4 p.m.
Several searches of campus parking areas have failed to locate her car.
Family members said she was expected back home in Biggs by 5 p.m., but never arrived and hasn't been heard from since.
She was reported missing to police at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday."
