FBI Surveillance Tapes Of John Ford - Eyewitness News Everywhere: "Eyewitness News has new information in the John Ford Tennessee Waltz trial. In court on Tuesday, February 20, 2007, the FBI submitted potentially damaging surveillance footage against the former Tennessee state senator.
Investigators say the phone messages and conversations prove John Ford took bribes in return for political favors.
The following is an excerpt from a conversation on October 15, 2004:
John Ford: “Oh man I've gotta call this m*&%$@#$*!$#. He's got this G*%&#%^!@ watch he’s supposed to have for me. It's a $50,000 Rolex. I did him a favor. It's a rich white boy.'
A rich white boy John Ford later identifies to an undercover FBI agent as Rusty Hyneman. The FBI says the watch came in exchange for trying to help Hyneman avoid environmental fines on some of his land development projects."
