Complaint filed over city investigator license

Hernando Today - Online Edition: "A local businesswoman has filed complaints with the state, contending the city should have hired a licensed investigator to probe allegations that have flown between the police chief and human resources director.

Anna Liisa Covell, co-owner of Covell Electric in Brooks-ville, said she mailed the complaints Saturday to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. She also provided a copy to Hernando Today.

Covell filed two separate complaints. One is against the city and interim city manager Stephen Baumgartner for hiring James Farley to conduct the investigation. The other is against Farley himself."
